Paul Dickinson is president, Mobile Consumer Electronics—Intelligent Audio, focused on the integration of Audience Inc., and the company’s strategy to develop and deliver solutions for the entire audio signal path. Paul is also responsible for the development of software, voice processors, CODEC, smart microphones, smart speakers and receivers, ultrasonic and motion. His proven track record in accelerating business growth helps to ensure Knowles’ success and profitability as a leader in the industry.
Prior to his current appointment, Paul was the senior vice president, Corporate Development responsible for the company’s strategy, acquisitions, and key business drivers. He led the acquisition of Audience, Inc., a leader in advanced voice and multisensory processing, and dramatically expanded the organizations capabilities and the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive audio solutions.
Before joining Knowles in 2013, Paul was chief financial officer at EPAY Systems, a time and labor management software startup in Chicago. Previously, he was at Littelfuse, Inc., for 19 years and served in executive leadership roles. Paul’s work in leading one of the Littelfuse businesses as well as corporate strategy and acquisitions, helped grow Littelfuse to record financial performance. In addition to his finance and accounting background, Paul also has experience leading sales, marketing and development teams.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He also received his Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
