Christian Scherp is Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Knowles.

Previously, Christian served as President of Mobile Consumer Electronics at Knowles.  Christian led the MEMS microphone and Balanced Armature Receiver product lines and his leadership drove growth through new product innovation combined with a continual focus on cost savings initiatives to reinforce Knowles’ leadership position. He specialized in integrated design development and focused on Knowles Mobile Consumer Electronics’ timeliness to market, flexibility and speed.

He previously served as the co-president of Mobile Consumer Electronics—Speakers and Receivers before being appointed to his current position in 2015. He joined Knowles in September 2012 with more than 20 years of product, sales, marketing and general management experience in the consumer electronics and communication industry. Christian has a proven track record of generating profitable growth with key corporate accounts on a global basis.

Christian held various management positions in Europe, Asia and North America. Previously, he served as global head of sales for TE Connectivity’s Consumer Devices Business Unit from 2011 to 2012 and several leadership roles at Conexant Systems from 2006 to 2011, including president and co-president of sales, marketing and program management and global head of sales.

Christian received his electrical engineering and business administration degree from the Technical University in Munich, Germany. He lives with his wife and children.
