Knowles Corporation Introduces New Line of High-Performance Safety-Certified Capacitors

New capacitors exceed industry standards for temperature-humidity bias (THB) testing.

ITASCA, IL, August 13, 2025 — Knowles Corporation (NYSE: KN), a leading manufacturer of specialty electronic components, including high performance capacitors, radio frequency ("RF") filters, advanced medtech microphones, and balanced armature speakers, today announced its Cornell Dubilier brand is expanding its portfolio with Type BLS 125°C DC-Link Capacitors for harsh environments. These capacitors are designed to outperform competitors by offering a 100 percent longer lifespan under rigorous THB testing.

Rated up to 125°C, Type BLS capacitors undergo 2,000 hours of THB testing at 85 °C and 85 percent relative humidity while operating at rated voltage. This ensures long-term durability and resistance to failure in harsh environments, where elevated temperatures and moisture levels can compromise component integrity.
