Mr. Wishart previously served as chief executive officer (from 2015 to 2025) of efabless corporation, an early-stage company offering an open platform and marketplace for community-based design of custom semiconductors, which Mr. Wishart co-founded in 2014. Mr. Wishart previously served as a managing director and advisory director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1999 until he retired in June 2011. From 1991 to 1999, he served as managing director, including as head of the global technology investment banking group for Lehman Brothers. From 1978 to 1980 and from 1982 to 1991 he held various positions in the investment banking division at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co.  Mr. Wishart served on the board of directors of Spansion Inc. from 2013 until 2015 and of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from 2015 until 2020. Mr. Wishart currently serves on the board of efabless corporation, a position he had held since 2014. In addition, Mr. Wishart is a venture partner at Tyche Partners, a venture capital firm focused on hardware-related companies, since 2015.
